Amara Lebel - Interview/Giveaway.

Morning everyone, im very excited about today, today im getting to interview a very good friend  of mine Amara Lebel And she has agreed to give one of my followers a copy of her book. Before I start the interview lets find out a little bit about her.

Author Bio:
Amara Lebel is a new author from a small town in Ireland where she lives with her hubby and gorgeous family. A huge fan of all things male, and considering that she is a little perverted, she often found herself lost in her own depraved mind. Fantasizing about steamy scenes of male love, sensual encounters, and so much more. With a little encouragement she eventually put pen to paper, and now takes pride in sharing her erotic stories of forbidden lust and enchanted romance with her fellow depraved sensualists.

Now on to the good stuff, the main event that we are all here for.

Q1: When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer, what was the very first idea you came up with for a story... did it take long for you to get your first book published?

A. The first time I ever took an interest in writing was about two years ago. I had started to write a short paranormal story, which sadly I abandoned due to a busy work schedule. I messed about with a few other things since then, but just never found the time to really give it my all. It wasn’t until recently, and a friends constant encouragement, that I decided to dedicate more of myself to my writing. And within the space of four months I had finished my debut novella, Denial (The Unrequited Trilogy #1).

The first time I submitted the manuscript to a publishing house was in May of this year, and it had be turned down. I didn’t allow it to deter me though, I submitted it to Siren BookStrand on the 13th of June, and on the 25th of June I was informed that my book had been accepted and would be published come September.

Q2: When writing a story what comes first, the character or the idea for the novel?

A. Oh, I would say a little of both! I remember being lost in a daydream while at work, I was meant to be concentrating on a training session but instead was lost in my own depravity – what’s new! Anywho, I dreamt up the gorgeous Mr. Bailey corrupting an innocent little twink and then before I knew it everything had changed and the devastatingly sexy Joshua was born. The storyline kind of grew from there.
Although, for another book I am working on the storyline came first. It is a little different from the Unrequited Trilogy, bordering more on the kinky side of things, so I am having issues finalizing my main characters. I keep changing their personalities and cannot decide on a good look for them. I am frustrating myself with it, but I’m sure it’ll all work out in the end!

Q3: We all have things going on in our lives, so I was wondering if there has been anything in your life that has influenced your work?

A: Yes! Nothing tragic or shocking has happened to motivate me to write, however, there are some amazing people in my life who have inspired my writing. My big cousin, Richard, and his hubby, Simon, play an important role in what drives me. Their relationship was like a romance novel in my eyes. They had the whole will-they-won’t-they thing going on, keeping me in suspense until the day they finally married in an amazing forties style bash. Their bond and love is so deep, and I love seeing it. How could I not get inspired?!

Q4: I was wondering if you could tell me what catches your attention when you’re not writing, how do you spend your free time… do you have things you like doing by yourself or with your family?

A: Well, I spend a majority of my time running after my lil' demons. I am a full time mum to two hyper boys, and they know how to keep me busy. They drive me insane, tire me out, yet they are my whole world! On the rare occasion I do get some alone time I spend it either nose deep in a book/manga, or watching anime. I love Japanese culture, have several anime boyfriends in fact! I am a huge geek, and proud of it!

Q5: Do you have any advice for anybody out there who is trying to make it as a writer?

A: Do all you can to enjoy the experience, and never let anyone put you off. Just put your head down and write, create a masterpiece, and then do all you can to get your work out there. I put it off long enough, but now that I’ve actually succeeded in having my book published, I am quite proud of myself.

Q6: Can you tell me about your latest work and when it will be out on sale for us all to buy?

A: I have just finished the first draft of Betrayal, the second instalment in the Unrequited Trilogy. I don’t want to give too much away, but let’s just say that an old flame of Tristan’s is determined to come between the sexy couple. Shame on him!
I am also working on a stand-alone piece, a kinky BDSM short in which the hero buys his feisty heroine on the black market! Yet that’s all you get… I’m giving nothing away!

Q7: In your book, which is your favourite character and why, but all so who is your least favourite character and why?

A: How in the hell can I answer that!?! Both of my main men are amazing and sexy and lovable in their own way. I refuse to choose favourites! I mean damn woman, I still have to get two more books out of these guys and need them to co-operate. As for my least favourite character… you have yet to meet him…

Q8: Is there a question that you are really sick of answering, and if I’ve already asked it I’m so very sorry lol.

A: No there is not, and do you want to know why? Because this is my first author interview! Congratulations, you just popped my cherry ;)

Q9: Okay, a totally random question for you because I’m a totally random person… if you could have dinner with anybody, whether they are dead or alive, who would it be, and where would you go with them and why?

A: Easy, it would have to be my girl crush, Kallysten. I love this lady to pieces, she accepted my crazy stalker ass when I was reviewing/blogging, and even afterwards she continued to be a good friend, especially when I was starting out as an author. I’d do anything for her as a fan, and a friend. As for wining and dining, I’d take her to L'Entrecôte because it’s tasty and French!

Q10: Has there been anything you have written that you really didn’t like, anything that just didn’t feel right?

A: While writing Denial I would read and reread every chapter and always find something I didn’t like. I’m my own worst critique, and somewhat of a perfectionist. I have to say though, I am pleased with the finished books it’s not all that bad a habit I guess.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions, is there anything else you would like to tell my followers.

A: Thank you for having me here, I had a great time. And I’d like to thank anyone who bought my book and who has supported me so far. It means the world to me.

Now id like to remind you a little about the book and that one lucky follower will be winning a copy and I think ill chuck in some swag lying around.

Blurb:
Tristan Bailey is a man who never takes no for an answer in anything he does or wants. Life treats him good as the CEO of his own airline, and one of New York's finest bachelors. Men and women alike fall at his feet, the world opens to him without complaint. There isn't much he desires. Until he lays eyes on Joshua that is.
Death has become a living nightmare for Joshua Malone. No matter what he does a past riveted with pain and destruction follows him, and forces him to make life decisions he would rather not. Josh never wanted to be reminded of the heartache that loving someone could bring, but he finds himself struggling to deny Tristan's advances.
Two different worlds collide in a heated meeting of longing and lust. Can the inner fears of one be laid to rest by the new found love for the other, or will they both be denied?

Excerpt
Tristan hated these goddamn fucking social events. So much so that he hadn't even bothered to ask what this one was in aid of. It was bad enough that he had to organize the damn thing never mind attend it. Why he even had to was beyond him. He was only the CEO of Bailey Airline after all, no one of great importance. Taking a deep breath he put on his happy facade, huge shit-eating grin in place, and finally allowed his introduction to be made. Head held high, Tristan Bailey descended the grand staircase into the ballroom below, every pair of eyes in the room on him. All he had to do was welcome everyone and praise the charity. Then he could leave.
As he stepped up onto the podium the crowd cheered. Lights flashed wildly as the photographers called out his name, vying for attention. Giving them what they wanted, Tristan kept the fake smile securely in place. He preened some for their enjoyment and winked at the cougars in attendance in order to curry their favors. Fuck, he hated that whorish behavior, yet it was expected of him. Finally getting serious, he addressed the room. "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. It is an honor to have you all here tonight on this special occasion. I do so hope you are ready to spend a ridiculous amount of money. After all, it is for a good cause." Tristan grinned wider as everyone clapped.
As the sound of his assistants sweet voice came over his earpiece Tristan smiled fondly. "Okay, Mr. Bailey, repeat after me." The girl was a life-saver. His rock.
