REVIEW: BLUE MOON ALYSON NOEL

6134826Alyson Noël's bestselling Immortals series has been hailed as "addictive," "beautiful," "haunting," and "mesmerizing." In Blue Moon, Ever has a chance to bring her family back from the dead - but only if she's willing to sacrifice the guy she loves more than life itself.

Just as Ever is learning everything she can about her new abilities as an immortal, initiated into the dark, seductive world by her beloved Damen, something terrible is happening to him. As Ever's powers are increasing, Damen's begin to fade after he is stricken by a mysterious illness that threatens his memory, his identity, his life.

Desperate to save him, Ever travels to the mystical dimension of Summerland, where she uncovers not only the secrets of Damen's past - the brutal, tortured history he hoped to keep hidden - but also an ancient text revealing the workings of time. With the approaching blue moon heralding her only window for travel, Ever is forced to decide between turning back the clock and saving her family from the accident that claimed them - or staying in the present and saving Damen, who grows weaker each day....

Review.

In this book we see Ever and Damen chucked into a world of turmoil when a blast from Damens past catches up with him.   Roman is out for the revenge of Drina which you seen in the first book. he sets on making Damen and Ever drift apart and kill Damen. or this is what it looks like anyway. Ever is set with a lot of choices and has to find a way to save Damen. Which she finds hard because she cant make up her mind on who to trust and she always seems to make the wrong choices.  We get to spend a lot of time in summer land in this book which I loved. we got to meet new characters such as Roman, Rayne  and Romy .

I thought this book was much better then the first.  the description and wittering were far better and I really did enjoy it  a lot more then the first. But I there was still a little something missing and again I cant put my finger on what it is. Maybe I'm just used to reading books where the lead lady is far more kick ass rather then  indecisive .  I didn't like how Ever couldn't make her mind up about anything and Im thinking it is her character letting the book down because the story line and the idea of the book is really good. Having said all that im not giving up on this series. Im still holding great hopes for what the next books hold. I really do think the writer can do so much with this series with a little bit of tweaking.

I will also add there is always something pushing me to read these books. once I start I cant put it down till its over.

RATING OF 3 LIPS.
