Review:

This book starts off  in a dark alley where a little girl called Charlee gets her self into a little spot of trouble, but all is not lost when Asher comes to her rescue. Asher is Kine a race living a hidden life.  After Asher comes to battle local gangsters to protect Charlee he sets her on her way home hoping that his secrets are kept safe along with the little girl with so mush heart and spirit.  through out the book we see Ashers fondness for the girl grow and In my oppion takes over and looks out for her the way her family should but dont.

As the years go by Asher Realises there  is going on then what he knows, there is someone moving against him and the Kine. and that someone is Alfar who will stop at nothing to get what they want. Charlee gets caught up in everything and Asher  will stop at nothing to keep her safe. because as the years gone by and Charlee has grow into a beautiful  woman Ashers feelings have grow with her and he finds he loves her.

to find out what happens in the book your going to have to read it your self, iv skimmed round the outline so I don't spoil things for you. Now what did I think of the book, I thought the book was very well written, I loved getting to meet the little girl Charlee  and reading as she grow into an amazing young lady.  I loved Asher  although he seemed very stiff at times I wanted to shake him up.but I loved the fact he was willing to do anything to keep Charlee and her family and even the world safe.  I think Tracy Cooper-Posey written this book really well and she did a great job with  the way she wrote about the  characters and there emotions and feelings. she has you feeling the same thing along with her characters which gets you more involved with the book. for any one who hasn't read this book then I suggest you give it a try as im sure you will really enjoy it. I think my only criticism would be that it was maybe a little long but then maybe that's me because im only used to reading short ebooks and im a really big fan of paper backs. having said that  I cant wait to see if any more books follow this one and what the story will be.

Rating of 4 lips.
