Lachlain  the king of Lykae, Tortured by a vampire for a very long time. but one day something happens to make him fight hard to escape and that something is he can feel his mate near by and he will do anything he can to find her even if it costs him his life.

When he finaly gets free and finds his mate he gets a great shock to find that she is a vampire and  is  part of his enemy's clan. She is everything  he hates but will he be able to put that behind him and remember that she is his.

Emma Lachlians mate,she is really innocent and she is extremely shocked when he kidnaps her, He really horrid to her, makes her do things she is unsure about. 

Lachlain after being captive for so many years but now free, he struggles to cope with the big changes of the world. He has to learn to live in this new.



Hmm I'm not to sure about this story. I didn't like the way Lachlain treated Emma, it was a bit caveman like.and as she was a virgin, he should of been kind and gentle with her. I mean no one wants to read a book that leaves you with the feeling that the female is being forced into things she doesn't want to do. After this I found it really hard to get into and I'm very sorry to say I had to put it down :( . I'm sorry Kresley  It really wasn't a book for me.

Having said that, I wouldn't want my review of this book to put you off reading it. every ones opinions are different and id be more then happy to hear your opinions.
