REVIEW!!!

Windfall (Weather Warden, #4)
Title: WindFall

Author: Rachel Caine
Series: Weather Wardens #4
Date Published: 2008

Description: You think you’re having a bad day? Joanne Baldwin has lost her job as a Weather Warden and saving the world doesn’t usually come with a decent pension plan. It also doesn’t come with any guarantees of landing a day job that won’t suck or finding a mystical cure for her critically ill Djinn lover. Burdened with a difficult sister in need of rescue, accused of weather-related murder, and finding herself in the middle of a Djinn civil war … well, Joanne’s bad times are just getting worse.

With enemies approaching from all sides, not to mention mounting credit card bills (Manolos don’t come cheap, you know) Joanne is praying for a windfall. But the mother of all hurricanes approaching the Florida coast isn’t quite what she had in mind.

Review:  In this book, we see the follow on story of Joanne Baldwin. She is an ex weather warden who is trying to make a  normal life for her self, as well as find a way to save her Djinn boy friend David *swoon*. Joanne get a shock when her sister turns up on her door step after splitting with her husband and finding a new boyfriend. but the boyfriend isnt what he seems and become yet another problem for Jo to deal with. The problems seem to be growing for Jo as she needs to save her sister and she has to make people belive she is not the reason behind many of the wardens dying. She is all so finding her self in the middle of a civil war and not only that but it seems that mother nature is coming awake to put an end to humanity.

I so love this series, its all ways so jam-packed with plots that make ya heart jump and ya bum firmly stuck to the edge of your seat. Jo is one of my favourite female characters, no matter what is thrown at her she all ways comes back fighting. she is gutsy and all ways willing to put her self in danger to save the people around her. I all so love that she is like any normal woman and doesnt see her self as anything to look at.  She is a character I think alot of women could relate to, well apart from saving the earth lol.

I have to say that Rachel Caine the author is at the top of my favourite author list. she really does know how to keep you interested and keep you wanting to read more. Im so looking forward to seeing where this series goes because we left this one on a bit of a clif-hanger.
