EXCERPT:
You want this, don't you, little one? His voice purred seductively, although his lips did not move. You came here for this, didn't you? He began to gently suckle on her neck.
"Yes," she whispered, as her arms lifted to clutch his shoulders and pull him closer to her body. Her eyes were tightly closed.
William drew back slowly, wondering about the woman's motives, about her willingness to surrender to a monster.
Then he remembered what she'd said. "You wanted me to kill someone for you." It was a statement. What he had taken as a jest before suddenly seemed very serious. Who was this woman? And why did she seek the Angel of Death?
"Yes," she whispered again, refusing to open her eyes.
Look at me. The command came unbidden. The full force of his will was behind the order. He would know what the woman in his arms wanted, what dangers she presented to him. Then he would deal with her.
"Who do you want me to kill?"
Her lashes lifted slowly, languorously. Her breathing was ragged. Her chest rose and fell jerkily. "Me. I want you to kill me." Then her hands lifted and she buried them in his hair. She tightened her hold, silently urging his mouth back to her neck. Back to the place where her pulse pounded so frantically.

Now guys and gals im going to be interviewing the lady her self. lets  see what she has to say for her slef .

SATIN-   Could you tell my followers about yourself because not all of them are as lucky as me and know you? lol

LAURA-  You are so sweet!

I'm a bestselling, Pagan paranormal erotica novelist (vampires, witches, shapeshifters, Otherkin Fey), and I also write a wickedly naughty blog. My work has been published in over a thousand magazines, literary journals, and anthologies worldwide. The recipient of a "Pulitzer Prize" nomination and seven "Pushcart Award" nominations, I am the author of more than 52 books.
A Wiccan Faery Witch, Otherkin Fey, empath, and psychic, I enjoy writing novels about contemporary Pagans living in the Deep South. Because I portray Pagans realistically, my novels are full of real spells, chants, and rituals. You'll also find romance and HOT sex in most of my books. Why? Because I'm totally oversexed and love it. Okay, I'm a slut. But who doesn't know that? Duh!
I write four series. Three series are fiction, and the fourth is a memoir series about my trashy sex life (yes, I modeled for all the covers in my panties *kinky wink*).
The three fiction series are 1.) "The Witchery Series" (Pagan paranormal romance), 2.) "The Rune Witch Series" (Pagan shapeshifter erotica), 3.) "The Manigault Vampires" series (Pagan vampire erotica). All my series are related and feature the same cast of characters, so my readers never feel lost when they read one of my novels. Cool, huh?

SATIN- Now then, what was the spark behind "A Vampire's Kiss"? What inspired you into writing this great peace of work?

LAURA-Thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. The inspiration was easier than you might think. I had always wanted to write a vampire series. But I didn't know how it would jive with the characters in my other series. Then one day Wynn (the hunky shapeshifter hero in "The Rune Witch Series") mentioned he works for Drayton Manigault, who also happens to be the wealthiest vampire in the city. Eureka! That was all I needed. The entire "Manigault Vampires" series grew from that. Really, it did.
I guess you can tell all my novels are character-driven. That means I'm primarily interested in seeing how the hero and heroine develop their romantic and sexual relationship. Chasing bad guys or solving a mystery is not what my erotica novels are about. I much prefer all the action to take place between the sheets. Since my novels are character-driven I let my characters tell their story to me. Most authors don't. They do the plotting and tell the characters what to do.
Still, there were a lot of firsts with Sara and Dray in "A Vampire's Kiss." For example, this was the first time my characters refused to follow an outline. They kept adding scenes and tweaking everything from the first draft to the final edit. That's the reason this novel is 36 chapters instead of my usual 28. Sara and Dray did that. I finally gave up and let them have their way. And as you know, they told an amazingly hot, romantic story. But then my characters always do a much better job of writing their story that I ever could.
Since "A Vampire's Kiss" is the first novel in "The Manigault Vampires" series this is the one where I built the vampire world in Columbia, and I had a blast doing it. Let's just say my vamps are a little different from most vamps in romantic erotica novels. But that's all I'm gonna say. I don't wanna spoil it for your readers.
I'm thrilled this novel is the one in your giveaway. Since it came out in April it's been climbing 3 of the Top 100 Bestsellers lists in the Kindle store. Last time I looked it was #13 and #14 on two of those lists. Yeah, Sara and Dray did a helluva job with their story. *wink*

SATIN-  Ok my followers all have a favorite book person, whether it be male or female. Mine has to be Aeron from "Lords of the Underworld" *swoon*. Who is your guy/girl and why?
LAURA- I'm totally smitten with Val in "Seize the Night," one of the Dark Hunter novels by Sherrilyn Kenyon. After Val I would jump Ash's bones ANY DAY, let me tell ya. *lusty grin*

SATIN-   Ok, random question time. I know how my followers love my randomness (lol). If you could take anyone out to dinner who would it be and why? *whispers, pick me,pick me* lol
LAURA- Well, that's a no-brainer. It would be YOU, sweetie. Of course. Duh!! *falls over laughing* And just for fun I would also invite Kevin Cornell from the Chippendales and Donovan from Thunder Down Under. Okay, I have a thing for young male strippers. But this comes as a big surprise? Not!
SATIN-  Where can my readers find you on the web?
LAURA- I just googled myself (damn, that sounds naughty, doesn't it? *wink*) and there are over 45 million listings for me. But to make it simple for everyone look for me here:
