Title: Lover Reborn
Author: JR Ward
Series: Black Dagger Brotherhood
Description: Ever since the death of his shellan, Tohrment has been unrecognizable from the vampire leader he once was. Physically emaciated and heartbroken beyond despair, he has been brought back to the Brotherhood by a self-serving fallen angel. Now, fighting once again with ruthless vengeance, he is unprepared to face a new kind of tragedy.
When Tohr begins to see his beloved in his dreams—trapped in a cold, isolated netherworld far from the peace and tranquillity of the Fade—he turns to the angel in hopes of saving the one he has lost. But because Lassiter tells him he must learn to love another to free his former mate, Tohr knows they are all doomed....
Except then a female with a shadowed history begins to get through to him. Against the backdrop of the raging war with the lessers, and with a new clan of vampires vying for the Blind King’s throne, Tohr struggles between the buried past and a very hot, passion-filled future…but can his heart let go and set all of them free?
Review. Well it took a long time for me to finish this book, because of my personal life, but once i got into it and took the time to read it i was totaly amazed at how much I enjoyed it.
Right from the beging of this series I have had a soft spot for Tohrment and as the books went on and you got little teasers into what was happing to him it made me long for his book. Poor Tohrment lost his mate at the start of the series and has had an on going struggle to get over her death. But in this book we find that Tohr hasn't moved on very well and his mate is stuck in the in-between wasting away waiting for him to set her free. but this isn't an easy thing for him to do and he ends up getting help and advise from Lassiter ( HOTTTIE) the fallen angel. both work together in finding a way to set his beloved free and the help comes in the form of No-one a lady from Tohrments past, who turns out to be just as troubled as him.
The two of them set out and worked together to try help set Tohr's love free from the in-between but No-one ends up falling for Tohr in a big way and this makes him feel guilty and makes him feel like he has cheated on his mate. Things go from bad to worse for the two when She goes into her needing and this makes Tohr sit back and realise that he has feelings for her as well. and he pushes her away because he doesn't know how to deal with it.
OMG this book has had me laughing and crying. poor Thor and No-one. there was so much going on in this book that you couldn't keep your emotions under control. I will say that there was one bit in this book that I wasn't happy with and that was when No-one got taken up into the fade. It didn't give you enough information about what was going on. it just left you wondering what happened to Lassiter and how No-one got back to Tohrment. but as for that I love this book. another amazing book in the series.
I loved that again as all the other books we got a little look a the other characters and what they were up to and YAY!! more of my Vishous in this one.
I so look forward to the next book and to seeing what happens to the romance that is Blay and Quinn.
RATING OF 5 LIPS
