To start our Author blog spot off we have a lady called Adrianna Thompson. This is what she said.
Author Bio:
Married at sixteen, a mother twice by seventeen, and thrice a mother and divorced by twenty-four, Adrienne Thompson is no stranger to adversity. Not your typical teenage mother, she went on to complete her college degree and to earn her nursing license. She attributes God’s faithfulness as the catalyst for her success in life. Now, having raised two children as a divorced mother, with a third fast approaching adulthood, she is sharing a long hidden talent and passion with the world. Using the lessons that life has so expertly taught her as a guideline (betrayal, abusive relationships, self-esteem issues, witnessing the deteriorating effects of drug abuse), she has created a novel that will both entertain and inspire the reader. Bluesday is a satisfying mixture of inspiration and drama that will not leave you disappointed.
Excerpt:
I kissed Bruce, hard this time. He sat there, stiff as a board at first, and then instinct kicked in. He placed his hands on my hips and began to kiss me back. He wasn’t a half-bad kisser either. I wrapped my arms around him and waited for my better judgment to kick in. I waited for the voice in my head to tell me to stop, that I was a married woman, and that this was wrong. I never heard it. I ended the kiss and looked at Bruce. He was breathing hard. I don’t know if it was the liquor, or the fact that I just needed someone, but I kissed him again. This time, he placed his hands on my back and eased them down to my behind. I didn’t stop him. I undressed him, still listening closely for that voice of reason to shout at me.
Silence.
I gave Bruce what every other male fan wanted. I gave him a night he’d never forget, a story he’d tell over and over again like an old soldier telling war stories.
