Title : House Rules

12958034Author: Chloe Neill
Series: Chicargoland Vampires

Date Published: February 5th 2013

Description: In a city full of vampires, trouble never sleeps.

At the tender age of twenty-seven, Merit became a sword-wielding vampire. Since then, she’s become the protector of her House, watched Chicago nearly burn to the ground, and seen her Master fall and rise. Now she’ll see her mettle—and her metal—tested like never before.

It started with two . . . Two rogues vanishing without a trace. Someone is targeting Chicago’s vampires, and anyone could be next. With their house in peril, Merit and her Master, the centuries-old Ethan Sullivan, must race to stop the disappearances. But as they untangle a web of secret alliances and ancient evils, they realize their foe is more familiar, and more powerful, than they could have ever imagined.

Review:
Well this book has a lot going on  in it. From killers to being kicked out of the GP. We even have a master vampire pop up like a love sick puppy. And its down to Merit and friends to get things under control.  Alot of drama for such a short book. But I think thats why I love this series.  You never get time to get bored.

In this book we see a nasty ass vampire who has a mega crush  on Ethan and she set out to make trouble for the pair. she puts doubts in Ethan's mind about how much he can trust Merit. This pair never seem to get a break. But I think and hope that they have managed to sort things out and in future books we will see a happy relationship between the two.

What I like about this series is it never forgets about the secondary characters like Mallory and catcher . it keeps you up to date on how they are doing. Mallory keeps making strides in making things up to people for what she did.

My over all view on this book was that I thought it was really good, well written, funny and action packed.I think Cloe Neill has managed to write a series that sucks you in and makes you feel like your apart of the team.  I love Merit and Ethan and I cant wait to see where there relationship goes. An I hope poor Johna  finds someone to call his own.  For anyone who hasnt read this series I really think you should give it a try. if you like Vamp/supernatural books then you will love this series.

RATING OF 5 LIPS.
