Review: well it took a long time for this book to come out, i feel like i'm all ways waiting for a lotu book to come out, and i'm always so excited to get my hands on the new book.
i found this book was a bit of a rollercoaster ride for poor kane, he starts out in hell, getting all kinds of nasty things done to him and if it wasn't for his female rescuer he wouldnt of made it. To save Kane Josephina his rescuer had to bower the power of a phoenix to help rescue him which leads her to big problems , problems which she could of done without as they were only added to the long list of problems she already had.
Im not going to go to much into the story as I don't want to give to much away and spoil it for you all. But what I will say is I really love this book, but then again I really love this series. Gena has a really good way of making feel like you are part of the story. like your right there going along with them.
I loved this book not only for the writing and the story but for the fact that in any of the other books we never got a true look at Kane, he was all ways a lord I seen as forgotten about, just like Torin. I found that I got to know him better in this book, found out more about who he was and what he went through. he was never one of them that I looked forward to reading about and truth be told I wasn't looking forward to reading his book. But I am very pleased to say that I really enjoyed it and I cant wait for the next book.
RATING 5 LIPS
