Review:  Iv been waiting for this book since I started reading this series, Torin isnt my favourite lord but I was so looking forward to him getting his happy every after.

Torin, probably the most dangerous of the lords as one touch can start a plague of some sort. he is starved of touch because of the demon he carries.  He had tried having relationships with other women but it never worked out because he could never touch. feeling lonely and always on the outside of things. never feeling like he truly belonged to anything or anyone. But in this book we Finally  get to see things start to change when he meets Keeley( the red queen) . The temptation is just to much for him to stick to and he caves in and touches her more then once. She sickens time and time again , an Torin struggles with the guilt of it and trys to end things with her.But she wont let him. 

Keeley  aka The Red Queen,  betrayed by everyone she has ever cared about.  Spent years locked away in a prison,Only able to make one friend. When that friend dies she blames Torin (which it was his fault) she sets out on a mission to find and kill him. but things don't plan out that way. Keeley has to work with Torin to escape realm after realm , world after world . but along the way Keeley starts changing her mind about Torin and starts finding him very tempting. and by the time they reach home the Temptation is to much and she seduces him.

Torin has to deal with the guilt of making Keeley sick  and they have to find a way to deal with his demon so they can finally be together forever because they find they cant be a apart. It turns out the answer lays with Hades ( a former lover of the red queen) and a bargain has to be made.

Along side this story we see Torin and Keeley out on a mission to find the missing lords of the underworld and the morning star. We see a bit of Cameos story which it looks like its leading to be her story next.  Which im really looking forward to. 

Iv been waiting for so long for this book like I said because I was interested in seeing how Gena could make it possible  for Torin to be able to touch someone without making them sick. I wont spoil things by letting you know how it ended up possible but I thought it was a little cheesy to say the least. I have to say im  a big fan of Keeley because she was a strong willed woman  and it was really nice to see a woman save the man for a change.But  im not a total fan of the way her and Torin got together.  There was to much of a chase and it became a little frustrating to read.  I thought Torin was a little bit of a let down in this book. He was far to wussy for my liking. he  was really lacking something and I cant put my finger on what it was. He just didnt come accross as the same character we seen in all the other books. infact all the lords seemed  a little  wussy in this book and had there a**es handed to them in the fight and again this isnt what we have seen in the other books. I did enjoy reading the book but Im going to be truthful and say it is  my least favourite and that is a big let down for me. I had it in my head that this book was going to beat the rest and become my favourite but alas no it didnt happen.  My only worry is that this series seems to be loosing its edge and ill be gutted if they keep getting worse coz I  really loved this series at the start.

Im going to mark this book as 4 but if I didnt love the series so much and followed them from the start it might of been a 3 .
