Review: In this book we see Riley take a step closer to becoming a guardian, the thing she didn't want to become. In this book she is on an investigation, to try solve the death of some young women who die in a really sick way. (not for the faint hearted. On her investigation she meets a suspect named Jin who turns out to be at the heart of whats going on, and to get information on him she has to do somethings that turns her stomach. She also has to deal with things that are going wrong in her personal life with Quinn and with him keep more things from Riley which leads her to get deeper into danger she ends up sending him packing.
This is an amazing book with great plots and twists and a story line that will keep you on the edge of your seat, I have to say One I started this book I found it hard to put it down. I will warn that this is not for the faint hearted because it does contain some very rough sex scenes and some BDSM. There are also some murder scenes that was pushed at my limits and for those of you who know me that takes alot of doing. But having said that if you can get passed all this you have a really good story line. And the characters are amazing.
I have to say I love Riley because apart from her being a werewolf she is like a normal person. She suffers with all the weight that has been placed on her shoulders and she really doesn't like doing the things she has to. Iv read people write bad reviews about this character and her need for sex, but people need to remember she is a werewolf and its in there nature to want sex when the moon is high.
If you want a good read then I really think you should give this series a go.
