Title: FireStorm
Firestorm (Weather Warden, #5)Author: Rachel Caine
Series: Weather Wardens #4
Date Published: september 5th 2006

Description:

Putting aside the personal chaos that has plagued her, rogue Weather Warden Joanne Baldwin must rally the remnants of the Weather Warden corps against a double threat-the Djinn who have broken free from Warden control, and a cranky Mother Earth who's about to unleash her full fury against the entire world.

Review:  Well again in this book we meet Joanne Baldwin. out on a mission to warn her fellow wardens of the impending Apocalypse. The Djinn have be set free of an old agreement and are set on getting there own back for the years of slavery they had to contend with.

With the Djinn and Wardens at war it put alot of Wardens and normal  Humans at risk and some end up dying because they get the in way of the cross fire.

Joanne has a lot to deal with and she is all so struggling with things that are going on in her  normal life , like the birth of her half Djinn, half human child who is fully human.

all around them the Wardens are realising that there is a lot of natural disasters going on and they are struggling to deal with them, Joanne is told by her Djinn lover boyfriend that mother nature is waking up and she is wanting to wipe out humanity.
This creates  yet one more problem for Joanne to deal with as she sets out to find the Oracles to put a stop to mother Nature killing all of man kind.

In this book we have lots of plots and twists that will keep you guessing, and on the edge of your seat. Iv never known a series that is jam-packed with so much adventure and plot twists, I'm totally in love with one of the leading men in this story because he is nice most of the time but with being Djinn ya never really know what ya gonna get. His heart break when he realises he cant keep Joanne safe from what is going on around her is unbelievable. and so sweet. I think the leading lady is one kick ass chick who I would so love to be but I don't think i would cope with everything this lady goes through.

There is only one thing I didn't like about this book and it is the way the book ended it left me a bit confused but I'm willing to read on and see where its going to take us.

This series is such a good read and I'm starting to think maybe it could get just as good as the morganville vampire series that Rachel Caine writes. But it is a little way off yet but I cant  wait to see what plots Rachel comes up with in the  next book.

RATING 5 LIPS
