Last Breath (The Morganville Vampires, #11)Title: Last Breath
Author: Rachel Caine
Series: Morganville Vampires
Date published: 1st November 2011

Description:  Claire Danvers is concerned when three vampires vanish from Morganville without a trace. The last person seen with them is someone new to town—a mysterious individual named Magnus. Claire is convinced creepy Magnus isn’t human . . . but is he a vampire, or something else entirely?

Claire’s hunt for answers leads her to solving another mystery that’s long been puzzling her: why do vampires live so far out in a sunny desert when they’re sensitive to sunlight? The answer has nothing to do with sunlight, but with water—and an ancient enemy who has finally found a way to invade the vampires’ landlocked community.

Vampires aren’t the top predator on earth. There’s something worse that preys on them . . . something much worse.

Which means if Claire, and Morganville, want to live, they will have to fight on to the last breath .

Review.   This story starts with a whole load of bad vibes going on about the planned wedding between Micheal (vamp) and Eve (human).  Its sturd  feelings in human and vamps and everyone is out to stop it. when Claire tried to talk to Eve about it and ask her if she was doing the right thing, Eve wouldn't back down, is that going to be her down fall as later in the book, Claire See's Micheal with a female vamp and things look very cosy.
While this is going on there is something big going on in town, a letter is given to Claire and Shane to pass on to the founder of Morganville (vamp) Amelie letter had one thing wrote on it and that was RUN!!!!.  Claire doesn't know what it means but she knows its something big. So big that it causes the vamps to want them silenced. and the Founder tries to have Shane killed.  When things have calmed down Claire keeps seeing a man about, but no one else can see him, he isn't like a normal man he is kind of wrong. She doesn't understand why no one else can see him but her and wonders if he has something to do with all the vamps going missing.  As normal Claire goes looking into things and gets a little to close for comfort And things go really wrong for her. All you Morganville fans out there will be so shocked at how wrong they go. It had me crying like a baby. In this book it leaves the vamps running for there lives for once and for once you see Ameile  being a coward and tring to run away and its up to Claire and the gang to save the day.

Over all View .

OMFG where to start, Iv never enjoyed a book so much in my life. It was one of them rollarcoaster ones where you find it so funny in its then your crying in others because it becomes so sad. Im going to have to say this has to be one of my favourite books in the series. it was so well written and had you glued to it till you had finished it. The characters in this book are amazing, and when you read about them you feel like your one of the gang. I love the romance between Claire and Shane and Eve and Micheal. they are so close and willing to do anything for each other. Now the only down side to this book is that you were left on such a clifhanger. With Shane annd  Claire  not quite saveing the day but Shane feeling the to  ask Claire to marry him. I so so so enjoyed this book but im really sad because you could tell that the series is coming to an end.
