Lover Enshrined (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #6)Series: Blackdagger Brotherood
Date Published: January 1st 2008

In this "frighteningly addictive" paranormal romance sage there's a war raging between vampires and their slayers. Here are the stories of a secret band of brothers like no other-six vampire warriors, defenders of their race. And now a dutiful twin must choose between two lives...

Fiercely loyal to the Black Dagger Brotherhood, Phury has sacrificed himself for the good of the race, becoming the male responsible for keeping the Brotherhood's bloodlines alive. As Primale of the Chosen, he is obligated to father the sons and daughters who will ensure that the traditions of the race survive, and that there are warriors to fight those who want all vampires extinguished.

As his first mate, the Chosen Cormia wants to win not only his body, but his heart for herself. She is drawn to the noble responsibility behind the emotionally scarred male. But Phury has never allowed himself to know pleasure or joy. As the war with the Lessening Society grows grim, tragedy looms over the Brotherhood's mansion, and Phury must decide between duty and love

Description:

Review: Well in the last book we found out that Phury took V's place as primale,  but when he he meets Cormia he realises its gonna be harder then he thought.  Phury has an addiction and a little voice in his head called the wizard and as Phury deals with being the primale and  all so having feelings for his brothers mate the wizard torments Phury and  pushes Phury onto a downwards spiral  into dispare. This of coarse affects the way Phury fights the lessers and  it ends up that the brothers have to decide weather or not he is to out of control to be in the brotherhood.

Cormia is the one who is to be the primales first mate, and she is scared out of her mind. Cormia had wanted something else for her life, but she is stuck in this one. When she meets Phury she decides to make the most of what she has  because he seems nice but after spending more time with him and his drug taking she starts to have second thoughts. She then leaves the compound and watches Phury from a far and finds it hard watching him slowly killing himself.

Well I was hoping for so much more from this book especially after the last book but it didn't come up to the job. When I first met Phury  I really liked him, he did so much for the other brothers and very seldom put himself first but after reading this book and the way he treated Cormia my opinion went right down. and he became my least favourite brother.  Where was the romance and the love, I wanted my toes to curl and my belly to flutter when reading this book and it just didn't happen.
