Blood Rights (House of Comarré, #1)Title: Bloos Rights
Author: Kristen Painter
Series: House of Comarre
Date Published:1st October 2011

Description: The lacy gold mapped her entire body. A finely-wrought filigree of stars, vines, flowers, butterflies, ancient symbols and words ran from her feet, up her legs, over her narrow waist, spanned her chest and finished down her arms to the tips of her fingers.

Born into a life of secrets and service, Chrysabelle’s body bears the telltale marks of a comarrĂ©—a special race of humans bred to feed vampire nobility. When her patron is murdered, she becomes the prime suspect, which sends her running into the mortal world…and into the arms of Malkolm, an outcast vampire cursed to kill every being from whom he drinks.

Now Chrysabelle and Malkolm must work together to stop a plot to merge the mortal and supernatural worlds. If they fail, a chaos unlike anything anyone has ever seen will threaten to reign

Review: Chrysabelle is a human who is breed to feed vampires but her master is killed and people think she had something to do with it, so she runs for help in an unlikely source. Malkolm is a vampire outcast who is cursed to kill who everyone he feeds from and has to live with everyone he kills living in his head.

We find both have to work together to get the future they want,Chrysabelle needs to clear her name and Malkolm needs rid of his curse both find a way to compromise to reach there goal.

This book started off a Little slow but then it really picked up and turned into an interesting read. It all so has some really amazing characters that are both unusual and entertaining. This book gave you a whole new kind of feel to the Vampire world and its really good to read a vampire story with a twist.

RATING OF 3 LIPS
